


Obituary for Vivian M. Delaney
Vivian (Kramer) Brown Delaney passed away July 18, 2010 at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center, La Crosse following a brain aneurysm. She was 77 years old. She was born on June 2, 1933 to Thomas and Rose Kramer and graduated from Onalaska High School.
She married Alvin "Bud" Brown on June 16, 1956 and they shared thirty seven wonderful years until his death in 1995. Bud and Vivian enjoyed traveling, camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. They were the love of each other's lives and cherished all their time together.
Vivian married Robert Delaney on May 8, 1999. They enjoyed retirement and going to casinos, until his death in 2004. She was further preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gladys Brown; brother, Jack Kramer; great nephew, Sean Brown and brothers and sisters in law.
She is survived by daughter, Susan Riesing; son, Steven Brown; sisters, Shirley (Richard) Reiners, Betty Meyer and Marie Benson; granddaughters, Jessica Thorson and MacKenzie Brown; great grandsons, Braydon and Brylee Thorson; brother-in-law, Ira Brown; and sisters-in-law, Bertha Olson and Wilma Uden.
Vivian was especially close to her extended family and spent much of her quality time with; Cathy Fuchs, Jackie Brown, Tommy Trehus, Becky, Jamie, Madison and Jack Misch, Tom, Kathleen and Sarah Brown, Keven and Louise Reiners, Bert, Andreas, Rosvita, Jenni, Chad and Noah Wolk and Alan Bishofsky. Very special to her was great nephew Aaron Fuchs who brought great joy to her life, and his daughter, Morgan.
Vivian was blessed with wonderful life long friends that brought love and joy to her life; Marvin and Florence Wigdal, Jimmy and the late, Katie Johnson, Kathy Luedke, Karen Troyanek with all her Red Hat girls and Karen Snodgrass.
She will be sadly missed, especially at holidays which she loved and her famous macaroni salad and "garbage" casserole. We will miss her unending love and care, which she gave to all who knew her.
In accordance with Vivian's wishes, a memorial service will be held for family and friends at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Olivet Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held at church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
The Dickinson Family Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
