David A. Wilson, "Dr. Dave", 66, of La Crosse passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at his home.  He was born in Ashland, Wisconsin on March 9, 1944 to Warren and Margaret Wilson.  David married Roberta Wysznski and they later divorced.            David worked for La Crosse Footwear before his retirement.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his granddaughters who he had the privilege to help raise.           David is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Jeff) Brown of LaFarge and Susan Wilson of La Crosse; two sons, John Wilson of La Crosse and Richard Wilson of LaFarge; two granddaughters, Carly and Kayla; a sister, Margaret "Tiny" (LaVern) Houston; a brother, James (Penny) Wilson; two step sisters, Gloria and Joyce Hysel; and four step brothers, Ronald, Robert, Jock, and Charles Hysel.       He was preceded in death by his parents; his ex wife, Roberta; his step father, John Hysel; and a step brother, Daniel Hysel.          A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Dickinson Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 809 Gillette Street, La Crosse.  In accordance to David’s wish, he will be cremated following visitation.  A celebration of David’s life will be held at the Green Door immediately after visitation.   In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
