Obituary for Grace Julia Grubbs
Grace Julia (Amundson) Grubbs, age 87, La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away Monday, June 28, 2010 at Bethany St. Joseph Nursing Home in La Crosse. She was born August 26, 1922 to Conrad and Grace Lucille Flood Amundson of Galesville, Wisconsin. Grace was married to Ralph Odonnell Grubbs from Streetman, Texas who preceded her in death on December 3, 1982.
Grace is survived by two sons, Dennis (Wanda) Grubbs of La Crosse and Dickie (Mary Ann) Grubbs of Onalaska, Wisconsin, two daughters, Kathleen (Dean) Mlsna of La Crosse and Sara (Kevin) Peterson of Doran, Minnesota, two sisters, Hazel (Monte) Lecher of Stoddard, Wisconsin and Beverly (Edward) Przytarski of Winona, Minnesota, three brothers, Vilas Amundson of Galesville, Faye (Betty) Amundson of Bellview, Washington and Elvin "Butch" Amundson of Trempealeau, Wisconsin, fifteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Anita Jo (Clifford) Hagen, two sisters, Florance Amundson of Galesville and Elayne Bradford of Plainfield, Wisconsin, three brothers, Donald Amundson of San Antonio, Texas, Kermit and Kenneth Amundson, both of Galesville and one granddaughter Debra Sue Grubbs of La Crescent, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be at Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 809 Gillette, St., La Crosse on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Majors Lee and Melody Morrison will be officiating. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Pine Cliff Cemetery in Galesville.
