Dear Lisa, Mike & Brittney, the loss of your son, Brandon, is so sad and if there was a way for me to lessen your grief, I would do so. But since such a loss leaves nothing but a hole in one's heart and life, I can only pray that healing will come quickly to you all. Dear Jennings Family, I can not begin to tell you how sorry I am over the loss of your beloved son, Brandon. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers almost continuously since I learned the tragic news. While I only briefly knew Brandon, I know he held a special place in the heart of my niece, Sara Weber. I was fortunate to be able to meet Brandon when he came to McFarland for my other niece's graduation party and I have also enjoyed watching Sara's picture postings of the two of them together on facebook pages. I'm certain that words are nothing more than a blur for you right now but I can only hope that as time moves on you will eventually be able to smile whenever his name is spoken and fond memories will eventually replace the heartache you are currently feeling. May God blessings embrace you as He and his newest angel, Brandon, look down upon you and give you the strength you need to move forward.

Dearest Jennings Family, I was lucky to have had Britney in my classroom back when she was a little girl. Often we had a visitor named Brandon, he loved to come say hi to his sister and see how she was doing. I'd often let him come in our room to play for a little bit. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and was such a sweet boy! He would tell me stories about ball games or just random things. I remember laughing often when he would come visit me and my two year olds. You are such a wonderful, close knit family and I hope you take comfort in knowing that SO many people are praying for you during this time and will do anything we can to help you all through this. My heart hurts so much for all of you and the loss of Brandon. He will live on through stories and in so many peoples hearts. God Bless You all. Leah (Brush) Waters

Lisa, I can not imagine what you are going through. My youngest son who is 22, is in Afghanistan right now and I worry every day for him. He's told me not to worry and if something did happen to him that he knows he would be in a better place and it was his time to go. That doesn't help me much though. Even though we have never met, I'm sure we have done business over the phone which has been very helpful to me. Just know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

There are some moments in life when words are not enough. Brandon had the greatest smile and was one of the boys - with everything that entailed - stinky sweaty clothes and socks from the Y or the football/basketball game or silly belly laughs reaching my ears from the basement. We are honored to have known him and to have been included as a part of his life. Our hearts ache for you.

I had the pleasure of having Brandon in my homeroom and in my science classroom over the last three years. I also spent a good amount of time with Brandon on the bench at lunch. Brandon was developing into a fine young man and I am so sorry that he was taken from his family, friends, and the world before he had accomplished all that he could have. He was a good friend to many and he knew how to make people smile and laugh. He could also be serious when you needed him to. He did a great job in Chemistry this year and was helpful to other students in the classroom. He was involved in his school through athletics and DECA. I loved wathcing his energy and determination on the basketball court. He will be greatly missed but remembered always by many. There is no greater loss than the loss of a child. My heart goes out to you and I hope God can give you the strength you need during this difficult time.
