Guestbook for William L. Fancher
sign guestbook

I have been remiss in responding earlier. I am Rip/Joey's son and was home the weekend Bud died. I could not make the funeral and want you to know my thoughts are with you. Joan compiled a family history of the Fancher family which I still have and have shared with my kids. I was nine years old when Bud/Joan married and can still remember the day. I am pleased to see your dad was a volunteer..what a wonderful experience to share with others... Duane/Candis Fancher Burnsville MN

Cathi, I was so sorry to hear that your dad had passed away. I know how close the two of you always were and how much you loved him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Five years ago we moved in next door to Bill. It couldn't have been 30 minutes and he was outside introducing himself and offering any assistance if we needed it. That warm friendliness has always been the Bill we've known. Always a smile and a wave. Even a word of playful picking on each other. We'll miss his warmth and smiles. Cathi and Paul, our sympathies go with you.

I was so sad to read that Bill had passed away. He and I had probably known each other for the past 7 or 8 years now. He would always stop to chat and catch up when he was driving for RSVP. He would share a few stories and sometimes let me know what was going on at the Onalaska Legion. I was always so happy to see him when he stopped by the desk to chat. He will be greatly missed by many.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May all the good memories you shared with your Dad help ease the pain you are going through during this time and know you are loved by your good friends in Racine.
