Guestbook for Delores Genz
We were saddened to hear of Aunt Rinky's passing.
We remember her as such a kind person who was always amused when Uncle Jr. would show us card tricks, tell jokes, etc. when we visited LaCrosse.
Know you all have wonderful memories. That's what keeps us going after losing Dad.
Our love and prayers,
Us other Genzes

Good Morning to all of you!! I can't begin to start reminiscing on all of our fun times together--sharing the bathroom upstairs of Grandma and Grandpa as you kids were growing up was truly memorable!!! Had to ask if anyone had to "use the bathroom" before we took a bath, etc. was only one of the many memories. Rinky was truly a "special sister-in-law", with a truly remarkable sense of humor and quick wit. She was always one anyone could go to and "just talk". We will miss her immensely! You kids take care of yourselves, that's what your mom would want, to go on in life with your own families. God Bless!
Love,
Aunt Marilyn

Julie,
So sorry about your mom, I just lost my dad on April 26 three days before your mom. It's not fun to lose a parent. I have special memories of you and I remember some fun times with your parents also! Hope all is well with you, I see you have a daughter now.

I will always remember one of the many family/group trips that I took with my parents and Carole and Don and Rink and Jr. I was riding with aunt Rinky and Uncle Jr. with my cousin Jeff whose parents were in a car with my parents, we were to be following each other from the Twin Cities to our next stop. I am not sure how we got separated from our parents car (which my dad was driving) but we did. (Cell phones...not an option in the late 60's) rather Jr. decided it best to pull off on the should of the interstate as he was sure he knew which way my dad would take. Well that wasn't the case. Being 6 years old I thought we should go find them,Jr. didn't agree. However the whole time Rink made sure Jeff and I were occupied playing Go Fish and other card games, she also just happened to have snacks. That was Aunt Rinky, always taking care of others first.
So saddened that we are not able to be in LaCrosse for the service, Fred, Mike, Laurie, Julie and your families are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. God Bless
