Guestbook for Ramon "Ray" Prieur
Dear Prieur Family, When I was going to college at UW-L and Becky brought me home to meet all of you, all I could think of was ..."So, this is what family is supposed to look like!" Your dad made me feel welcomed immediately with his funny sense of humor. It was so obvious where all you kids got your quick wit and sincere love for others. I can still see your mom's eyes sparkle as he teased her:) What a blessing to be a part of such a family where Christ shines:) I am praying that your rich memories of your dad will give you great joy and comfort as the Lord provides strength and healing for you.

We are saddened that we will miss "Ray". He was a serious but fun guy! Always a prank was hidden nearby. I believe he got ALL of us plenty.
The saddness we feel only makes us so much more grateful that Ray knew our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as his own personnel Savior. There is know doubt of that! He also took time to share Salvation any time, anywhere, to anyone. He is doing that right now to you who are not Saved! LISTEN!! Find someone now to talk about it! Don't be shy, hide, stall, THIS may be the last time you EVER have! Hey! I pulled that too. I was fortunate enough that God gave me time to get Saved! I would't dare take that chance again!
Ray is at home with his Savior! He is Totally well, he is totally whole, he is so happy, and he is AWED by the beauty of his Savior and the beauty of HOME! That gives those of us who are Saved a peace and a joy that someday we will join him.
For us, our main concern is for those who are still not Saved!! They are the saddest of all knowing that they see the saved have the joy of joining Ray soon.
The day is close as we have heard many times before, but the signs of the times have never been like this before! You have many Saved around you today. DON'T put God off again! Get with someone who is Saved and they will help you! That's what Ray wants!! Don't be late! Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow is not guareented and will be too late. What a tragedy!
Jesus is calling you now! Ray accepted the Lord Jesus as his own personnel Savior. He wants that for you also.
Love to all,
In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

To Sarah Osborne:
Just want you to know that as a co-worker at TJ Maxx, I extend my sympathy to you and your grandpa's family. I said some prayers and hope it will ease your grieving to know that if you need to talk, I have a listening ear.

Ray was a member of my high school class. We both left the class of 1946 to enter the military. Ray attended our 50th class reunion. Our prayers go with the family.
God Bless

To Eunice and the Prieur Family:
Eunice, Teresa and I are leaving on vacation today and will not be able to attend the visitation or memorial service. I remember your Dad's kindness from the days I used to spend time at Grandpa's house all the way through the last few years when Ray would stand on the deck an watch me mowing the same lawn for Dad. Rhea and your father were great neighbors and friends of the family over those many years. Thanks for stopping by on Thursday night and letting me know. I am truly sorry for your lost and please let you mom know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
