Guestbook for Victor Herbert Eide
I worked with Vic in Clarksville. He was a loving, caring and a man with a smile. He was a colorful guy. May his soul rest in peace with God.

We have fond memories of the time that Vic and Irene lived here in Clarksville, TN. We spent quit a bit of time with them through church activities here at Grace Lutheran. He was also the first one to enter the 25 yr. club here at Trane Clarksville. They were both good friends.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Vic at Trane Clarksville. On the occasion that two or more of us from that era get together Vic's name always comes up. Where is Vic? How's he doing?
If you worked in Engineering and made plans to leave Clarksville back in those days you had two things to worry about.
1. Were you gong to like your new job? And
2. There was going to be a going away dinner in your honor, that was o.k. but Vic was going to be the Master of Ceremonies at your Roast and Vic could get you "Well Done".
There are many great memories of those times, it was an honor to have known Vic and Irene.

I worked closely with Vic in the 1970's. He was always upbeat and fun--unbelievably witty. Yet he was also serious about his job and most competent in lab technical matters. It was obvious he loved Irene very much. He was a great guy.

We have fond memories of your parents while they attended OCC. Your Dad was very attentive to your Mom and a great example. Sorry we're unable to give our condolences personally.

Vic was a very important member of the Blood Center family and everyone that worked there and knew Vic, is deeply grieving his loss. He has been such a caring and giving person with us for so long, we just can't imagine his not being at blood drives and there to answer his phone when we needed his extra support! He was such a wonderful person. I will miss all his stories of life in general and what he was up to and all about his baby (dog), but more than anything I will miss all his emails because it kept us connected until I saw him. I will miss his smiling face and cheerful "Hello". I will miss HIM!!!! Blessed be the memory of one very special man.

Dear family of Vic,
I met Vic while working and being able to take care of Irene at BSJ. Both were fantastic people and I am blessed to have met both of them. I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I will always think of Vic as a kind and caring man. His devotion to his wife, especially in her last years, was an example for all. I am sure they are happy to be together again and both in perfect health now.
May you all have peace and comfort in knowing that he was a man of great faith and is now in the presence of his Lord.
